This agreement is between you, as a user of the Gokonnect website (“Gokonnect”), 

and 

Gokonnect Pty Ltd (ACN 144 474 831), the operator of Gokonnect.

In these terms and conditions, "Us", "We" or "Our" means Gokonnect Pty Ltd.

Terms and Conditions

1.      Agreement

1.1.    By accessing and using Gokonnect, you agree to be bound by these terms and 

          conditions, our privacy policy and any other terms and conditions, notices and 

          disclaimers displayed elsewhere on Gokonnect relating to your use of the 

          Gokonnect ("Gokonnect Terms").

1.2.    We may change the Gokonnect Terms at any time.  If this happens, we
will post the amended version of the Gokonnect Terms on Gokonnect . You are
responsible for ensuring that you regularly review the Gokonnect Terms and your
continued use of Gokonnect after any changes are made to the Gokonnect Terms
will be deemed to constitute your acceptance of those changes. If you object to
any changes to the Gokonnect Terms, or otherwise become dissatisfied with your
membership of Gokonnect, your only remedy is to immediately: 

1.2.1. discontinue your use of the Gokonnect; and/or

1.2.2. terminate your membership in accordance with the Gokonnect Terms.

2.     Intellectual Property

2.1.   Any intellectual property existing on Gokonnect is Our property, and are protected
from copying, imitation, communication, or simulation under domestic and
international laws and are not to be reproduced, communicated, displayed,
distributed, or transmitted without Our express written permission.  Such intellectual 

          property includes, among others, trademarks, text, art work, graphics, images,

          buttons, screen shots, other content, except where otherwise noted.

2.2.    For content that is covered by intellectual property rights, like photos and videos
("IP content"), you specifically give us the following permission,
subject to your privacy and application settings: you grant us a non-exclusive,
transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any IP content 

         that you post on or in connection with Gokonnect ("IP License"). This IP License ends 

         when you delete your IP content or your account unless your content has been shared

         with others, and they have not deleted it.

3.     Privacy

         3.1.   When you publish content or information on Gokonnect, it means that everyone, including
	          people outside of Gokonnect, will have access to that information and we may
	          not have control over what they do with it.
          3.2.   Gokonnect is designed to make it easy for you to share your information with anyone you
	          want. You decide how much information you feel comfortable sharing on Gokonnect
	          and you control how it is distributed through your privacy settings. You should
	          review the default privacy settings and change them if necessary to reflect
	          your preferences. You should also consider your settings whenever you share information.
        3.3.    When you sign up for Gokonnect you provide us with your name, email, gender, and birth
	         date. During the registration process we give you the opportunity to provide
	         additional profile information, such as your interests and preferences, and to
	         add a picture of yourself, to help other users connect with you. Once you
	         register you can visit your profile at any time to add or remove personal
	         information about yourself. You can add basic information about yourself, such
	         as information about your family, relationships, and your political and
	         religious views. You can also add other information about yourself including
	         your activities, interests, contact information, as well as more information
	         about your education and occupation.

4.     Cancellation

4.1.    You understand and agree you do not own your Gokonnect account. If there has been
any breach of the Gokonnect Terms by you or for any other valid reasons, we may
cancel your account and delete all content associated with your account at any
time and without notice. 

4.2.   We will not be liable for any information removed from Gokonnect’s system arising from
a breach of the Gokonnect Terms. 

4.3.   You may also cancel your account at any time, after which We will remove all content related
with your account. We may permanently prevent access to our products and
services for members who have had their accounts cancelled.

5.     Registration

5.1.   When you register to become a user of Gokonnect, you agree to provide accurate, current
and complete information about yourself as prompted by our registration form
("Registration Data"), and to maintain and update your information to
keep it accurate, current, and complete. 

5.2.   You acknowledge that if your Registration Data is in any way untrue, inaccurate,
not current or incomplete, we may terminate this Agreement and cancel your
account as per Clause ‎4 of this agreement.  

5.3.   You warrant that you are not a convicted sex offender.

5.4.   By becoming a user, you represent and warrant that your age is 18 or over, which
is the minimum required age to become a user.

5.5.   For obvious reasons, we cannot possibly validate the age of every user and hence
cannot guarantee that each user is at least the required minimum age, nor do we
accept responsibility or liability for any content, communication, or other use
or access of Gokonnect by persons under the age of 18 in breach of the Gokonnect Terms.

6.     Users use Gokonnect at own risk

6.1.   You acknowledge and agree that you use Gokonnect at your own risk.  You are solely responsible for your
interactions with other users of Gokonnect and understand that We do not in any
way screen Gokonnect’s users, nor do We validate the information and backgrounds
of its users.  

6.2.   You agree to take reasonable precautions and apply common sense and take reasonable steps
to ensure your own safety when meeting and interacting with users of Gokonnect.   

6.3.   In no event shall Gokonnect be liable for any damages whatsoever, whether direct,
indirect, general, special, compensatory, consequential, and/or incidental, arising out of

          or relating to the conduct of you or anyone else in connection with the use of Gokonnect, 

          including without limitation, bodily injury, emotional distress and/or any other damages resulting	

	from communications or meetings, fraud, negligence and criminal activities with other registered users
of Gokonnect or persons you meet through Gokonnect. 

6.4.    You will not include in your profile any offensive anatomical or sexual references, or
offensive sexually suggestive or connotative language, or any confidential
information of any third person, and you will not post any photographs or other
images containing nudity or such personal information. 

6.5.   We may, but are not obligated to, reject any profile or photograph or image that does
not comply with these prohibitions. 

6.6.   You will not impersonate any person or entity. 

6.7.   You will not engage in any harassing or threatening behaviour against any user of
Gokonnect, such as stalking. 

6.8.   You will not engage in advertising to, or solicitation of, other users of Gokonnect to
buy or sell any products or services through Gokonnect without Our written consent.
You will not transmit any chain letters, spam or junk email to other users.

6.9.   You will not upload viruses or other malicious code on Gokonnect.

6.10. You will not solicit login information or access an account belonging to someone else.

6.11. You will not bully, intimidate, or harass any user.

6.12. You will not post content that is hateful, threatening, pornographic, or that contains
nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence (e.g. depiction of blood).

6.13.  You will not use Gokonnect to do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or
discriminatory.

6.14.  You will not do anything that could disable, overburden, or impair the proper working of
Gokonnect, such as a denial of service attack.

6.15.  You will not facilitate or encourage any violations of this Gokonnect Terms.

6.16.  You will not share your password, let anyone else access your account, or do anything
else that might jeopardize the security of your account.

6.17.  We respect other people's rights, and expect you to do the same.

6.18.  You will not post content or take any action on Gokonnect that infringes or violates
someone else's rights or otherwise violates the law.

7.     Indemnity

7.1.    If anyone brings a claim against Us related to your actions, content or information on Gokonnect, you
will indemnify and hold Us, including Our subsidiaries, affiliates, officers,
agents, partners and employees, harmless from and against all damages, losses,
and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs) related to
such claim.

8.     Subscriptions
Free Usage

8.1.   Use of GOkonnect is currently free of charge.  You will not be charged any subscription fee without your 

	consent or knowledge. 

9.     Jurisdiction

        9.1.  This agreement is governed under the law of the State of Victoria in Australia.
