Last January 18, more than 10 websites participated on what is now known as the Blackout Wednesday. Major websites such as Wikipedia and Reddit have stop daily operations and replace their usual homepage and other pages to be redirected to a Stop SOPA page. One of the biggest contributor on this Blackout Wednesday is Wikipedia, whose website is known to be one of the most visited information center. Millions of online protests were then heard on social media sites on why is the site down. This blackout is intended to cripple the on-going efforts of the congress to pass the controversial SOPA bill.
